Yesterday I gave you one webcomic today... Two videos!! Just because I am that generous.
As usual, surfing the net searching for fun stuff to show you I came across this video, and guess what? It turns out there are more that one or two Lego Star Wars Christmas Specials in Youtube!
This first video is the special for 2012, but there are many many more!
The second video... I am not sure whether I want to show you or not, I am torn between... No I am... This is confusing, I am not sure whether I like this video or not cause I am totally in shock and did not know it existed!
Baby Chewbacca is somewhat disturbing.
I take no responsibility if your respect for the Star Wars Universe diminishes after watching this.
I am still trying to get over it.
And the work week starts and my purpose goes to hell with it...
Days 3 to 6 come with a gap, so I hope my sis is cooperative and sends the missing picture.
Now that I see this pictures I realize this looks like some simple crafting work, but by the time I had done gift bags 1-6 I was exhausted!
So to fill up this four day gap I decided it might be a good idea to go back to one of my classic posts! TV goodness yay!
2012 has brought me four fantastic discoveries which I am more than happy to share with you, they are freaky, they are girly and they are awesome!!
So I am taking this opportunity to thank Anuska for suggesting some of this, for making me keep my faith in David Tennant (who proved better than Matt Smith despite the powerful tandem he makes with Amy Pond)...
And here you have the shows that have made me rethink my TV shows ranking:
5.- Here comes a silly family show that kept me stuck to the screen during the first season (still have not had time to watch season 2), but that Beauty and the Beast episode was plain awesome:
4.- It is dark and disturbing, and the characters are all emotionally crippled and wrong, but what a show. Thanks to my iPad I am learning to love BBC shows, and this has to be one of its best shows of late. John Luther you rock.
3.- Moving on from one Belle to other belles, I love the southern groove of this show, and the boy next door (you just have to love him). Nice clothes, nice music, the right amount of drama, and a Gilmorish aftertaste. Hart of Dixie is one show for bad days.
2.- And now for the top two! Outside the government, beyond the police... Torchwood has caught me. And season three was one of those that keeps you watching until 2 am and you don't care.
1.- Finally, a classic of old, a show that reinvents itself every few seasons, I could say sooooo many things about it, about that blue box... All I will say is this: Trust him, he is the Doctor.
Any shows for 2013 you may want to share?
I am thirsty for ideas!!
Such is Life.
PS: I am decorating my Christmas tree on Saturday and I feel giddy, Sis!!
I am desperate to fill the void you've left in my daily life, I have tried buying furniture, going to museums, pampering up and nothing could help me get over this sister depravation.
But maybe, maybe there is something that can help me...
17 different washi tapes and three rubber stamps don't seem enough. I may have to go over there to check if all those shops you announce are as good as you say.
Things are changing dramatically since you left, el Hormiguero has a new ant, and I hate it! Its name is Petancas and is the roomate of Trancas and Barrancas. I leave you a video here so that you can judge for yourself, but I feel you will think the same as I do. Why do good things have to change? Maybe they are also trying to fill a void, I may have to suggest that they washi-tape the original ants and maybe then they get rid of the new one...
Love,
M
P.S.: Last night the Godfather part I and II was on TV, I could have watched 6 hours of non-stop bloodbath, instead I may have watched iMTV, the new season of 16 and Pregnant is dramatic.
Good morning! it is a lovely Sunday morning, it's cold outside and the sun is shining, and I have a new post, one of those with content, not random silly ramblings.
Over this post-athon I have offered you a couple of TV show lists, and even though I tried to make a good list at first, I realised it was not my list.
I lied to save face, but when you run out of posts, you must either face your demons and post or just write some crap from a taxi and press send.
I choose both.
So, without further ado, I present, the Ultimate Finalest Realest Top 5 TV shows of my choice:
5.- It is a powerful program that which makes you cry every time you see it. These people are made so happy... (And in that last sentence there is both irony and truthfulness). Number 5 goes to Extreme Makeover, Home Edition.
4.- This is the real place this show really deserved in my initial list. All that make it work has lead to incredible designs, and hours of entertainment.
3.- Oh what this show has given me... the music, the characters, the story, the ideas, I wish other sagas would give fans so much material to feed their thirst as this one. Some may object, but this is awesome!
Oh, no wait, that wasn't it...
2.- Good morning upper east siders, yes, I admit it, I really enjoy this show... The looks, the city... It is drama for drama, and they are frivolous and all that stuff, but I enjoy it a-lot.
1.- Number 1 will always be number one, for the years to come and the shows to be invented, I have not seen another show like this. Number one is always for them! F.R.I.E.N.D.S!!
And with this the show is over for today! Comment and suggest, but do not judge.
Maybe my top 10 TV shows are not the 10 you I showed you the other day are not exactly my top 10, maybe I was not totally accurate and truthful. Maybe I feel a little ashamed of the TV I really enjoy? Maybe NOT.
I hereby present M's real TOP 10 TV shows of all time (Part 1):
10.- Sunday afternoon after sunday afternoon these three sisters fought against evil and charmed (hahaha that was easy) teenage me:
9.- The best chef ever. I drove by his restaurant at the Claridge's in London yesterday and have made the purpose to go sometime soon, maybe not while being strangled with a mortgage though. Can't help but love Hell's Kitchen (and Kitchen Nightmares, it makes me miss HK a little less in between seasons!)
8.- Blood, blood, blood and Eric! (and Alcide of course, but he's not in the video sorry)
7.- Another HBO hit which lead me to the books and is now in the limbo of "will I like next season less now I've read the books?" that is what happens when you "play the Game of Thrones..."
6.- This is the most awesome Cartoon show I've seen since Dave the Barbarian and notwithstanding my Top 5 choices. BLUE is AWESOME.
I could actually dedicate this little blue friend a whole post! But I still have many other things to post! The final real Sich is Life TV show list is coming soon, and it is going to be AWESOME!
Oh joy! I made it through the first Post-athon week! Two more to go and I will have over come my greatest bloggong challenge so far.
Ok, enough of that, today's post is the continuation of Monday's TV show Show. I am sure you are waiting for the top five, so I will end your agony and provide you with this extremely valuable enternaintment insight.
5.- Mckinley High has provided me with hundreds of hours of good music and even though this new season is being a little bit of a disappointment, they still deserve a place of honour in my LIST. Here's to Glee!
4.- This show reminds me slightly of my number 1 choice, it's NYC, it's a group of young people spending most of their time together, and they are fun (well not Ted, Ted is not fun, I don't like Ted). Big round of applause to How I met your mother, for making me miss my number 1 choice a little less.
3.- This is getting interesting... 3, three is to a good cop show filled with irony and sense of humour, intelligent and entertaining, even though Beckett is silly because he is awesome and he loves her. Mr. Rick Castle, you deserve it!
2.- I declare this guy the best TV character ever. Best humour I've ever seen. Also I have to admit I feel identified with them some times, and that makes it even more awesome. Math, science, history, unraveling the mystery and all started with...
1.- 1994-2004, I grew up with this show and cried when it ended. I know episodes by heart, I never tire of watching it over and over again. That is the secret of a great show, you never tire of it, you laugh with it and you cry when it's over. First place goes to FRIENDS, for so many years of feel good moments.
I have to admit I keep laughing out loud as I watched this clip. I think Jennifer Aniston is genuinly laughing too.
I promised yesterday to post this and here it goes. My Top 10 TV shows of all time, well, maybe not, maybe I should say My top 10 TV shows of all time from an adult perspective, cause if you had asked me let's say 22 years ago I may have included Falcon Crest in the list below together with Saint Seiya (better know as Caballeros del Zodiaco here at home).
So be thankful I grew up and that my mom never let me watch more that the opening credits of that show cause this could have been a very... interesting list actually. I've decided to split this post in two parts, so today numbers 10 to 6, and next week the top 5. You are, as always, most encouraged to comment on my choice and suggest some changes, I am always eager to discover new TV shows, so drop by and leave a word.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you, the LIST:
10.- I admit I would put this TV show in number 5 or 4 if my common sense didn't tell me that many will disagree and think me a little shallow. I may only need to say three words for some to guess which show it is: Make it work.
9.- I started watching this show when its last season was about to start and it was such a great discovery that I watched all the seasons, episode after episode some time in the autumn of 2008, frack, it took me days to do that. Awesome show. Can't say the same about the prequel. Please cheers to Battlestar Galactica.
8.- Number eight goes to a show I watch intermitently, a show that I don't watch while it is ongoing but wait for the season to be over and watch episode after episode in a Show-athon (anything can be athoned this days!). She is bad, she is twisted and she is brilliant, that why everyone loves Patty, cause when she is through with you, there won't be anything left.
7.- Seven goes not to one show, but to a genre, those cute TV shows that make you like them just because they are cute, characters are cute, the town is cute, the story is cute... I think you get it. It's a pity general audience doesn't seem to like them as much as I do. Clear examples are Men in Trees and ongoing and recently premiered, Hart of Dixie.
6.- Weird, inexplicable and odd. Fringe is justthat. Walter Bishop is one of those characters you can't help but love. Peter is awesome, Olivia may or may not irritate you, in my case she does, but the show is great. And this way I cover not only Fringe, but also other J.J. Abrams shows, looking all modern, ha.
Curious to know which shows made it to the top 5?
In other circumstances you would have had to wait months, but that is the good thing about the Post-athon! You'll have your top 5 in a few days. Come on, leave me some comments.
Ok, so I think it is high time to post something, march is almost over, spring is coming and my lack of posting is starting to worry me after such a good start of the year.
I've been thinking on posting something on one of my favourite TV shows as of late, and considering how many of the songs of the show feed my iPod's playlists I could go no longer without paying my humble homage to a show that has joined the best songs of the old times and the current ones.
Ladies and Gentlemen, please raise your glass to... GLEE
If you pay a little attention to my blog you may have seen a little list of songs on the left hand of the screen, well, those are or may have been at some time or other my favourite glee songs, but right now, here's my top ten:
10.- Old but fun, and maybe one of Glee's underdog song if there is such a thing for those guys: RUN JOEY RUN
9.- I am so glad they started to give Santana the spotlight she deserves...: VALERIE
8.- Number eight is just plain sweet: BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE
7.- Again an all time classic, awesome song, awesome voice (awesome guy too): SWEET CAROLINE
6.- This is not just the song, but the performance (I want this in my wedding)... six goes to: MARRY YOU
Now here comes the TOP 5, most of them from the current season, but just so awesomeI can't stop playing them again and again and again (I've got a problem called song-burning, the good thing is the show keeps feeding me songs on an almost weekly basis)
5.- Another old song, but so relaxing!: LANDSLIDE
4.- Bon Jovi in Glee means success, but in this case, it is just perfect!: IT'S MY LIFE/CONFESSIONS Pt. II
Sorry for the interruption again, but I need to explain my top three a little bit! This next three songs just make me feel great, they rise my spirits, make me wanna shout and dance and scream. For that, they have earned this special place in my Glist. No further explanations, the songs speak for themselves... Enjoy!!!!!
3.- FIREWORK
2.- THE DOG DAYS ARE OVER
1.- RAISE YOUR GLASS
I like posting a Glee song on FB every week, so if you like these songs and want to hear some more, just stay tuned. Considering how these guys get better and better episode after episode I may have to update this Glist completely before the end of the year!!
